weatherbo
Calm wind has now become ne at around 5 mph. Temp has gone from 55 to 47 in 20 minutes. Fun while it lasted, time to close the windows and light a fire. Temps should be in the mid-30's in a couple hours.

I was gonna head down to florida this weekend for the month of March but might stick around a few extra days since it looks to be in the 60s through the weekend. We had such a record stretch of snowy Februarys it seemed as if it would never end. Now we have had 2 duds in a row. Shows that trends break, and makes me feel good that the dud December trend will break soon.

They hit 73F yesterday, and are already up to 73F at noon CST today. Two days in a row of all-time record high temps for met winter, going back 130 years. Make that 77F at Rockford - just ridiculous. Normal high is 38F.

CheeselandSkies
Still blew the daily record out of the water, but I don't think we'll get as warm as earlier thought (pretty sure I saw some 71s or 72s in the forecast) because we were expected to get more sunshine this afternoon. Brian D
Light snow with W/NW winds up to 25-30. Temps peaked around 1 pm in the mid 40's, and now down to upper teens at almost 5 pm. Can feel this old house breathing the cold air. Chilly!

cyclone77
An unbelievable 79 at MLI today, hit 77 here. Out the south window at work literally watched the southern sky go from clear to filled with towering cu in a matter of a half hour. Would have made for an amazing time lapse. EDIT: Cold front just slammed through. Outside you could literally hear it coming, as it was nearly dead calm as it came in.
