clskinsfan
All guidance is pretty consistent about a clipper affecting the area for the 31st. Meso models look eerily similar. With an inch or two for us. We are due again.

Terpeast
Thinking it’d be a west of 15 special. East of 15 marginal unless it falls at night or early AM

clskinsfan
GFS is decent west of 15 as Terpeast mentioned above. Temps are iffy. But some snow tv at least.

JenkinsJinkies
Clippers underperform for us. The Appalachians cause a pseudo rain shadow.

And if it’s going to come directly from the NW, that really wouldn’t work for mby. Due west? Maybe - its happened before plenty.

I think temps are the real problem. I’d be interested not too far west of the Beltway. Don’t see this working out in the cities. But we’re due for one of those

dailylurker
I remember clippers. They use to be cold, dry systems. Most of the time you just get gray sky, cold temps and flurries. Once in a while we'd get a whopper (2-4") cold smoker. Seriously. What happened to clippers?

I can remember Maulers dropping far more than 2-4. It is usually better north of here obviously. But we are due for one.
