HIPPYVALLEY
The number of posts shows how well this is going for most of SNE. 2

jbenedet
Solid heavy band over. Looks like coating on driveway. Maybe cold surfaces are half an inch.
jbenedet
Kinda wild hearing the melting as the rates drop to light, and temps bump up a degree or two.
NoCORH4L
Got about 5" here but has lightened up

One of my least favorite winter sounds. Hearing snow turning to water.
NorEastermass128
This is like a snowfall in early April in the early 2000s. Garbage locally.
UnitedWx
Looks like we're going to end up with 2 inches. What's showing on radar doesn't seem to be translating to the ground. Precip shield looks like it will rotate out of this area soon

I’ve always thought the airport up in Berlin (KMPV) would be the optimal spot to cover eastern VT and NH west of the Whites.

Yeah, just looking on google maps, decently high terrain, no major mountains right next to it, you could pretty much cover the rest of the state. MarkO
Looks like 2" or so in Lowell per webcam. 1,5" in Thornton.

The 0.5 degree base scan would show so much without topography interfering the sample in eastern VT and adjacent NH. It might even overstate precip given its beam would start at over 3,000ft and increase from there…but zero barriers to the signal in any direction.
NotSureWeather
Probably close to 35 MPH gusts right now. 38 and rain.

tunafish
Look I don't need a new fancy radar for my area. All I'm asking for is that the property owner adjacent to GYX cut down some effin' trees. 32.4 SN- and 0.5" new. 2

I was in Waterbury for start of the event and noticeably warmer and lighter snow there. Snow picked up and 3F temp difference between Waterbury and Montpelier exits on 89. Jives with Powderfreaks no snow in Stowe earlier.

mahk_webstah
Moderate-heavy now. Maybe 2”. Still radar looks like lots of holes in the precip. Maybe we get lucky if it stabilizes with a band and pivots a bit with the low. 4” would be a win. I imagine there could be a few lucky 8” totals somewhere. breezy and 32
