Yeah there’s def gonna be some model fantasies out of that pattern shown. Might be several. A few whiffs in a powderkeg setup near the end of the season should do well on here.

everything still looks on track for mid-month... MJO moving into favorable phases, equatorward Pacific jet extension will foster strong Aleutian low development, split flow, building -NAO via wave breaking in the N Atl. all ensembles are in really good agreement temporally and spatially

i'd like to give it another week to get this into a better range, but it looks good

I don't! Makes the hobby way easier. Don't have to spend all that time aligning and pointing the telescope at objects - point it wherever and the view is the same! Can even use them inside if I want. You guys would be amazed at the utter blackness of space.
