Go Kart Mozart
It looks like the GFS is hinting at another blocking episode in a couple of weeks, with the coldest air on the Eurasian side. Very spring-like maps with blocks and bowling balls...could be a good thing if we are looking for a big dog.

EPS seems to lag on that....looked like ti wanted to at the end, but it would take several more days.
40/70 Benchmark
I would say that the GEPS are in between, but more in line with the EPS.

To me, the Doors and The Velvet Underground, are bands that I have to be in the mood for and then can appreciate small doses. Kind of like August humidity, As a 20 year old in college I found it great stoner music. Looks where the anomalies are….low anomalies S of the Aleutians and higher anomalies in western Canada. It’s split flow though which is why we see the lower height anomalies in California and the southwest. That can be a great pattern for us if there’s cold around but we’d prob want to sharpen the ridge a little more to lower the heights over the northeast. Looks more like a -EPO and neutral or slightly -PNA but I guess that owes to the split flow you mentioned.
