nukeing
Roads here are a disaster. Plow truck stuck in a ditch at the park and ride in Mt airy. I saw that and the three people tailgaiting me and I called it, taking a personal day. I'll have more fun with the kids in the snow anyway. Looks like we've already got close to 2" here!

It's starting to move into my area. Flake size is picking up again and visibility dropping. This is sick for my area near Annopoils. What a week to remember.
Bob Chill
Band forming from HGR down 81 to OKV. Interested to see how they perform. WAA was a boom. If the upper level stuff is a boom too it will be quite a scene at times today.
snowfan
Can clearly see that SW to NE orientation on radar. https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/?parms=LWX-N0Q-1-24-100-usa-rad 1

Bob Chill
Base velocity scan is a good tool for watching the pivot. Pretty clear what's going on to our west. Lull will be minimal north of 66 if any real lull at all. Snow won't be steady later this AM thru PM but a hour or 2 lull prob not happenin for most https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/?parms=https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/?parms=LWX-N0G-1-24-100-usa-rad

Despite all the salt, roads caved immediately and visibility was low. Snow became notably lighter towards Easton. Except for Kent County the radar has broken up across a lot of the Eastern Shore, hopefully heavier stuff builds back.
