TUweathermanDD
Snowing moderately here in SE Baltimore County with some nice winds to boot. Radar is really breaking out the precip, some heading W/NW and more developing out there. I'll take the stuff coming at me, and the westerly stuff later when the low pulls it ENE. MD Snow
$5 the NWS re-issues the winter weather advisory for areas just west of DC with the radar starting to blossom. http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?product=NCR&rid=lwx&loop=yes

Herb@MAWS
Steadiest snow of the day so far. Grill, mulch and deck are whitening, but not grass. Temp 27.0 at 2pm. 2:30pm -- Operation Ground-Whitening underway. Temp down to 26.3 Last 2 hrs have had the feel of any "normal" snow event. Disorganized flurries for way too long, then things evolve into a steady light snow. Winds fairly lite ATTM.
SabreAce33
Wonderful down here in SBY. Wishing you guys across the bay the best of luck. The 12Z NAM seems to show a lot of wraparound as we head into the evening. Is this likely? The GFS seems to cut our area off around the 11-12 range. North Balti Zen
Slightly harder snow in NE Baltimore City, another hour of this and I might have a "dusting". Now that I am home and can finally peer at the radar, I understand better the frustration posts from earlier. So damn close, just a brutal miss. At this point, would kill for a few inches, enough to take my kid sledding tomorrow. Not holding my breath. Back to the newly received KU book to comfort myself with the science of all this. WxUSAF
Legit dusting now in Columbia. Light snow for almost an hour after 3 hours of pathetic flurries. I like the 20-25dbZ band filling in toward me right now. We'll see if it can do something worth a ruler.
Kmlwx
Heavier light snow now. Looks pretty. Slight dusting on the deck.

MN Transplant
Steadiest snow of the day, but still would be stretching it to even call it a dusting thusfar.
Terpeast
Wind blown -SN here now. But it would take awfully long time to get that first inch, if it ever comes.

Terpeast
Looks like mother nature is throwing us (west of I-95) a bone. Just need it to fill in a little more at SE MoCo and central-eastern FFX counties.
Ian
about the best we could hope for at this pt.. at least east of the edge. maybe we (dc area) can finish with a good memory of this one...
BethesdaWX
Seems like its too windy for anything to realy stick. Snowing OK though
Herb@MAWS
Besides being all the way up to "somewhere between a dusting and a coating", some nice bands trying to wrap from the N&NW. Breezes have picked up in past 30 mins.
Dr No
I must of had a foot of virga in the last 2 hours (dark greens), but nothing to show for it... just flurries. The snow that's falling at cloud level is probably getting blow 10 miles south before it hits the ground. I hate this storm- ruined by dry air. But, alas decent light snow falling.
