I noticed that. ORH_wxman will be reporting +SN before I even get flurries at this rate.

They do better than we do, certainly, but don't expect a big difference. NNE and sometimes CNE are the best spots in a powerful La Nina. Don't be shocked to see yourself fringed later on as ORH_wxman reports blizzard obs.

Here in Gaithersburg it looks like if the snow from the south ever makes it up to here, the drying air from the west will wipe it out after a flake or two. Once again my wife's comments about my snow predictions have proved to be correct.

This is a classic SNE storm. They are now stealing Miller As that come out of the Gulf. I think they have their mojo back.

Some flurries now. The clouds are quickly moving NE to SW now. That tells me that the 700MB low that has brought all this dry air is contracting and migrating toward the strengthening coastal.

If we are going to get any pivot to bring the snow back in DC Metro, we should see bands starting to move west again soon.
