John1122
Steady snow showers still rolling this afternoon in the NW flow. We may not see flakes fall for a good long time after today, so I'm enjoying it.22
ShawnEastTN
Turning out to be a good NW flow event IMBY compared to most. Have pretty good light snow falling. Most NW flow I get a shower or 2 and flurries. I've had pretty consistent light snow for the last hour. My valley location doesn't usually get much from these but this might over perform for me.

Same here. Another half inch to an inch of fluff on top of the overnight inch so far today.
Stovepipe
Really happy with the snow today. Been coming down at a pretty good rate for central valley NW flow.

bearman
The snow has been coming down hard in the last hour in West Knoxville. Not really adding anything to our total but it sure is beautiful.
Stovepipe
You know it's been a helluva week of winter weather when I can't even be bothered to keep track of amounts anymore. 5
John1122
This week is basically straight out of the 1970s and early to mid 80s. Back then we'd have a period like this every winter. Sometimes two or three.

bearman
Well now it is coming down hard enough to start adding to our totals. It is getting close to a half and inch here in West Knoxville.
John1122
The Plateau NW flow radar blind spot couldn't be more obvious than it is today. The snow looks like it just magically regenerates at the edge of it today. It's a perfect wind direction for Knox to get in on it.
Greyhound
I see so many people on social media complaining that they are over it. Give them a few years and they will be whining that it NEVER snows here anymore. Me……I’m enjoying the heck out of it!!! As John1122 said, this is like the late 70s / early 80s!! I say bring it on!! .

Uncle Nasty
I'm happy for everyone. It was amazing the difference of a few miles in the Chattanooga area. I'm in Ooltewah where we might have received 1/4" of snow. 6 miles to our north started the accumulating snowfall. 2" and then higher totals of 6-10. All the snow was north and east of us 6 miles. Maybe 8 miles away in Harrison near the lake 4" was widespread. We received the warm nose shaft here. Oh so close.Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
Kentucky
Pretty rare, but getting some flow snow in Corbin.
John1122
Big fluffy flakes flying out there. Snow flow here seems to always pick up as we get towards dark. Some of the biggest flakes of the day flying out there right now.

John1122
19.6 degrees, snow still flying. We'll talk about this week for a long time. 10.25 inches of snow, snow in the air for probably close to 40 hours. .10 freezing rain with temps around 29/30. Low of -8. Below freezing for a week+. 3 3
Jed33
And still more sub zero to come Sunday morning as well! MRX has me at -4 to -2 for the low! I don’t ever remember two fronts this strong in one week! This is definitely top 1 or 2 all time for me. Wish it was this way every year!
John1122
My cousin just sent me this picture of I-75 right now. It's just to my NW in the area of no radar returns. 4

The RGEM and GFS kept nudging a 3 inch line really close to me and I may get there myself. The energy for this is still going into central Kentucky. Every end time MRX has forecast today has passed with snow still falling. Originally they'd had a 20 percent chance of overnight snow showers but removed it with the evening forecast. They look like they have at least a little while to go.
