butterfish55
So the NAM drops 24" plus for the suburbs SW of BOS down to like Raynham over to Wrentham. Looks like it's right along Rt 24 We are supposed to leave Wednesday morning to drive to a cousin's New Year's Eve wedding in Cape Breton, NS. Instead of the normal 12-13 hours, this might take 2 days.

mattmfm
00z NAM is delicious. Attleboro is the place to be. Sort of surprised we haven't seen a last minute QPF explosion on the NAM like we sometimes do with this system.

Baroclinic Zone
What should I expect in the caver middleboro area? Cloudy with a 100% chance of a Blizzard. 12-18" is pretty likely imo for the area but could potentially go higher.

Clinch Leatherwood
Doesn't that tend to happen in all the big ones? Those areas with big numbers? Absolutely: Norwood to Sharon to Canton Randolph West Bridgewater/Easton down to Raynham but a lot of times not quite back to KTAN as they are away from the ocean enhancement - don't think it'll be the case this time. The AFD which I cannot find now as it's been replaced and I'm not scanning through the previous pages cited some past cases where the storms were closer to the coast then modeled earlier but didn't hook in as much. IE, counterintuitive, you'd think if it's 20 miles west to start it must end up further west but that isn't the case a sig portion of the time. I'm pumped I get a decent front end hit at the worst, but Sunday River looks to get 6-18" of just beautiful beautiful white gold

powderfreak
I still think during its bombing phas a pull NW is still quite likely along with some slowing and/or a loop SE of MTP (Montauk followed by a track just NW of the BM Nice Andy. I'm liking that scenario, too. Down in Albany for this one. C'mon 00z GFS... come WEST baby!
