5 inches total currently of fairly fluffy stuff, still coming down, picked up and inch in the last hour, wood fire is ripping along nicely and enjoying the flakes. Let's see if we can squeeze another inch or two based on the radar, looks completely dry 25 miles south of here but nice steady snow to our southwest it appears

Light snow falling with a “chalky coating” as Tip mentioned earlier. It is covering the glaze of ice which covered the snowfall from earlier this morning.

At least it will look like winter for this colder stretch over the next week.

What a scene out there this evening.  Just post card stuff in town.

The few folks visiting town this week are getting the Ski Town as it should be vibe.

Town is snowy, and the mountain is buried.  The High Road Snow Plot has seen 34” past 7 days.  All measured, no bullshit guesstimating.  High quality control measurement standards for Stowe.

5” today through 3:30pm.  Snowed steadily through 6:30pm.

In my mind, this has been a solid over performer, at least from what my early expectations were.  I’m at 6” +/-  The hardest seems to be from 4:30 - 6:00. Snowed all day with a high of 16°, it’s a very January day.

Given how awful the radar looked over my head for the duration of this event, I'm surprised I managed to snag 3.1" (high ratio fluff). Went around jamming the yard stick in the yard and averaged 11.8" for total snow depth. Even managed to push it in 90 degrees to the ground (for the most part). Please see the below table for my season's goodies thus far. (Please note listed dates are when I measured and do not necessarily reflect the start of the event.)
