Was just driving in Wheaton area. Georgia ave mostly wet. Univ Blvd covered and not in good shape, but Arcola mostly wet. Go figure. Probably treatment related.  Temp of 28. Rates aren't bad, but not ideal either. Either way need better flakes. Then need the Eagles to get NAM'd later by Tampa.

The rate is about 0.5"/hr now.  Would like to see 1/hr for a period

Just a steady light snow  long duration that pops moderate a bit and was just a degree or two cold enough in the weak sun daylight to accumulate

18z Euro....10:1 snow AFTER 7 pm...Not sure the euro is great for evolution at this point but it does tend to do really well with QPF

That’ll put most of us in the 4-5” total range

University Blvd was covered by 0900 this morning so that does not surprise me. Georgia being a massive first responder artery doesn't surprise me that it's wet. Georgia+Colesville both streets are wet but snow on the edges.

Attempted to drive from Takoma Park to Rockville and turned around.  Side roads in surprisingly bad shape apreset and even New Hampshire covered.  Saw some cars slipping.

… I was in upstate NY last weekend and the difference in comfort driving in snow always gets me
