        Correct.     It's really tough to generate meaningful spread from a single model core in the short range.    And the struggles of the FV3 core aren't helping things.

SW flow and these overrunning events as we know tend to have leading edge precip and it can over perform. That being said, DP’s dropped quite a bit and we’ll need to saturate.

The hi res Canadian HERPEDERPES has it too.  A bit lighter than GFS but like 0.5”-0.9” for the metro areas.

I missed the 18z GFS 6 inch line by about 5 miles.

My GFS,ECM,GEM,NAM blend is 4.5 inches.

I can handle that light fluffy amount with my blade without getting the blower out. Last winter I put the blade and chains on the tractor and took them off in early April without ever using.
