Yup.  That's what made me pull up the radar to see what was going on as I'm so used to dry air hanging on for dear life before trying to saturate ahead of storms. :lol:

That NAM run was not all that great for the Lehigh Valley especially southern sections of the Lehigh Valley, but it's the Nam

NAM normally sniffs out the thermals, which in this case brings sleet.


Just weird that it’s only showing up now. Normally we start seeing that sleet line at at least 24 hours in advance.


Nws just responded back to me, warning criteria is 6” in Lehigh county. The forecasted amount is 5.5”. That’s why they stayed with an advisory.


Winter storm warning here at home for 8-12”
