Oh nice —> that can be a rough car ride from here.  Was just up that way to visit family for new years. Enjoy.

Thanks man. Took a bit less than 4 hrs with no one on the road. Pretty smooth ride with lots of scooby snacks to get me through

Looks like precip won’t begin up here until late afternoon. 740 ft elevation half a mile east of mount hope. WSW up for 6-12”

Seeing some snow falling on my cam back home in union bridge. Assume some sleet is mixed in there too based on other’s observations. WSW up for 2-4” of snow / sleet + some ice

Family down in Staunton claims not to have seen a single flake. Glad I didn’t attempt to chase down to that part of I-81. Or anywhere really

Same here. Was going to chase to Front Royal. Glad I didn’t.

Back to a prior topic, not to make heads explode but I've noticed this before - LWX referring to Baltimore as northeast MD.

...WINTRY MIX THIS MORNING...

A mix of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain will affect
northeast Maryland this morning. While temperatures are slowly
rising, a few locations remain below freezing, especially
northwest of Interstate 95. This may lead to slick spots on
roadways. Use caution and reduce speed if traveling or walking
this morning, as surfaces that appear wet may actually be icy.
