That is a point to be mentioned, but you also need to specify where you actually think that sets up.

BuildingScienceWx
Trying to determine if I should stay in CT or head up to my weenie spot in southern VT. I was originally going to stay down here but it's hard to deny the north trend. Front-end looks more exciting in CT (but I'm on the southern edge currently and tainting looks likely), but that h850 easterly flow into VT at 2300' would probably do pretty well. I NEED SNOW in my life. Any suggestions?

Yes, but I think even in the interior it provides a prudent floor for accumulation ranges.

40/70 Benchmark
Nothing should be ripped and read...that is why we have forecasters. Each of these tools has value if applied and incorporated into a forecast appropriately. 1
radarman
I'd go 6-10" in the Pioneer Valley. We always have our red flags and failure modes, but for the most part we've been in the middle of guidance for a while, so might as well be bullish.
Greg
It's all going to narrow down to true final storm track and temperature profile of the air columns. A glitch here and a glitch there and one can have a chilly rain mixed with sleet or an all-snow event.

Take the risk for the real snow and stay in CT.
CoastalWx
GFS is between 0 to -1C at 975 around BOS. That IMO should be like a 32-33 paste if it comes down good. You would think that shouldn't be a huge issue.
