I just meant that all of a sudden it was flaccid. We’re 36 hrs out and it suddenly changes its look. 6z GFS looked fine to me. And I’m thrilled with 6-12 or 6-10.  And yes, I’ll gladly take the snow, and have it get washed away a few days later…I’ll Take what and anything I can get here.

NWS Boston: Seymour snow on the coast see less snow far NNE. Seymour snow has the 6z jitters.

Those of us that lived Jan 96 remember the epic floods. After nearly a foot of rain in Dec and nearly 4 inches w/e coming this could get interesting. Add in a 100 mph jet, well should be an inversion but if it breaks. New Moon Goon. Yes Anthony we will totally enjoy every second of our snowstorm and the 3 days it blesses the earth with its beauty.

Sunday PM has def trended east with CCB. Looks like the main show is the stuff before that. It still clips eastern areas Sunday afternoon with CCB but it’s not as crazy as yesterdays runs.

Interesting disco from Upton for you guys in coastal Connecticut.

"

Meanwhile, steady snow which may become heavy at times for portions
of the interior is expected through the evening and overnight. As
such, Winter Storm Watches remain in effect for interior portions of
the Lower Hudson Valley, NE NJ, and Southern Connecticut. There
remains a fair amount of uncertainty as to how far north the
rain/snow line moves. A stronger system may bring heavier mesoscale
banding and a more northerly component of the wind which may
allow for enhanced snow totals for the immediate CT coastline
and southern Westchester County, where a weaker system may allow
for warmer air to infiltrate further inland and provide for
more rain than snow. These details may not be known until the
storm is underway."

Stunning that hopes for a foot+ event hinging on a last second hail mary of a SW capture didn't pan out...I am just floored.

This has always looked like a nice, moderate snow....random higher end suites not withstanding.
