Monitoring first regional significant winter impact event. Magnitude likely tempered. At this time NE PA/SE NY and SNE primarily. Jan 7/8.

I hate the position of the high...more so for my area than Norwalk but even there I just think anything over 4 is a long shot here

Honestly, that high position is the only reason I feel confident we’ll get something measurable. WAA always surprises so let’s hope we’re on the plus side

I was hacked bigtime. My tracking curtailed to the dark ages. Two computers down after installing FreepornApp. Beware of Walware, went right to my OS boot.

Has it ever been right in a snowstorm ?

It has horrid mid-level cold bias for sure beyond like 8 hours.   Its very up and down...it runs hot and cold.  If its close to the 3km NAM/RGEM inside 12-18 I trust it but it has events where it just performs horrible

O good, now the rap is running

when are the HRRR or Rap remotely useful

When you've reached your expected snowfall but the newest run shows a random band redeveloping that might give you another inch or two
