IrishRob17
Yeah, I'm over thunderstorms, the ones with wind anyway. Yeah, I said it. Not much wind here yesterday thankfully but did have a house shaking bolt of lightning strike real close, only .26, not complaining about that. wishcast_hater
Found out three horses died from lightning Friday night. The same thing happened to the same owner 20 years ago. Pretty wild. .
wishcast_hater
Doesn’t seem we will be getting the above normal hot summer everyone was calling for. Now if they called for above normal humidity they would have been correct. .

Due to the warm lows it could be a 'sneaky' warm summer, I'm thinking that's the case. It's the lows that are really driving the above normals these days.
gravitylover
And by association those overly warm nights have added ~30% to our electric bills and killed our AC compressor. That was $13k I hadn't budgeted for

Capacitor and fan motor both went bad. Lines were too small for the new units so those had to go and the 35 year old evaporator didn't have the capacity for the new systems so... That damn capacitor was over $700 by itself.

gravitylover
Another couple hundredths overnight. Man is it soggy out there. My raspberries are all wet, heavy and laying over, it's gonna be a real pita (pain in the arms) to harvest them over the next few months.

IrishRob17
Considering that five of the last seven winters IMBY have been below normal I'd like to think that odds are we can get normal to above but I'm a results guy, until I measure it I won't believe it.

I keep my mower running until I’m done with the leaves for the most part.
