Especially when it’s coming from the west, of course it’s still sunny when sun is still mostly east in the sky

Snow will coat the ground in spots late this morning, and with temperatures near freezing this may coat untreated surfaces as well. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Maryland between mile markers 42 and 75. Interstate 270 in Maryland between mile markers 23 and 32. Be prepared for slippery surfaces when traveling. Slow down and allow extra time to get to your destination.
