We turned around in Oakland, came back home, and went sledding here instead. Gorgeous day….got chili in the crockpot, fire going, and ready to watch playoff football. This place is going to turn into a world-class ice skating rink worthy of the Winter Olympics. That 14 mph north wind is tearing up my cedar pollen ravaged nose and throat. Mine is only about 350’ and I got my 15 year-old son to help me shovel it today. Piece of cake with the fluffy light snow. But he still complained a bit and asked me how I did it alone when we had 36” of snow in 2016 or 46” in 2010.
