Euro loves the inside runners.

Def a big risk in the 1/10-1/17 period....with that vortex trying to press into western Canada, there's a cutter risk. Hopefully we avoid them and they are mostly SWFE type systems or even overrunners if we can get that block to work for us enough. But that's definitely a risky period.

Seems like in forever since we have gotten away with one of those periods a la 2007.

10-50mb PV crying for mama. That's good to see.

massive massive scaled DVM chimney implicated over the Siberia to Alaskan sector.

I'm wondering if we convert an already robust -EPO signal into rare cross polar flow structure.

Definitely trending towards the not as nice GEFS in the 10-15 day range unfortunately the last two runs after the weenie 12z run yesterday

MJO into 4, dumps the PV west of the divide.  Real chance SE ridge extends into block and it’s last year in a strong Nino.  I mentioned this risk in the fall.

We are going to lose the 10th

Folks thought we were losing the 7th yesterday too…chill out..it’s still 7 days away.

Things will morph much more. We gotta get to and through whatever happens Sunday, before this gets clearer.
