It really feels like the models ( all of them ) really have no good idea of what is going on. It has been like this for the last few years. Almost feel like they are somewhat worthless as there is no true direction. I remember just several years back when we would follow the evolution of the storm on the euro. We would pretty much follow the path a week out, except for the fact that maybe it would deviate 100 or so miles one way or the other. But we had a good picture of where something was going. Lots of younger weenies were misled/influenced by the constant big/bigger storms, and having things work out more often than not, the last 2 decades. But that’s not how it always is. That’s why this stretch of trash is even tougher on them. Those of us who’ve lived through the bad winter times before, know this.
