clskinsfan
Drove home from Ocean City to Winchester early this morning. No rain the entire way. But fog was heavy up on the Bay Bridge and coming over the Blue ridge.

My oldest son is in ATL tonight, flying between there and DCA tomorrow mid afternoon. Begged him to change his flight because of my suspicions for tomorrow, based on your report this evening. Mr. "I CAN HANDLE IT, DAD" was having no part of it, though. Sun AM Update: I talked my son into changing his flight to Mon AM, he's seen some of the radar and storm coverage from FL last night and this morning, and I shared this post with him. Thx for the report, @bigtenfan...you helped me put his travel decision over the edge. Glad that I can help

wxmeddler
Thankfully the trend has been more offshore with the LLJ winds... There is an insane patch of ocean though that is going to be 50G80kts offshore in the warm waters though. Heck of a swell coming for New England.

Between the deluge, the standing water, the stiff wind, and the idiots going 80, I opted for a slower-but-safer route. Finally started letting up around Brunswick, GA. Southern NC also has all that construction now. Ugly.Sent from my Pixel 8 using Tapatalk
