clskinsfan
Radar looks juicy down on the Gulf coast. Should have plenty of moisture up here later. Not sure if the trajectory will work out for those of us to the west. But someone is gonna get some heavy rates up here at least.

If I were physically standing on my old stomping grounds right now I would be pretty stoked. Just wow, and I am really pulling for you all to get that deathband. If only it could stall.........

pazzo83
Dews in the 60s now in DC. I guess that shouldn't be that surprising given the tornado activity in eastern NC.

Elevation gets up to 1400’ there, so it makes sense.

Maybe…but I remember getting 1-2” in northern VA on November 11th after it was 65 degrees with severe thunderstorms earlier that day with a temp of 33-35 during the snow. How??? Because we got lucky with banding and it snowed like crazy for an hour. We can’t predict where but I think whoever ends up under a heavy band could get a pleasant surprise despite the marginal temps. If it snows hard enough it won’t matter. It will melt as soon as it stops like it did in my November example but who cares.
