Ground is toasty so I'll need good rates for anything to stick to paved surfaces around here... 42f/cloudy Plus 8.2 degrees here in Chesco... ChescoWx
While today will be almost 10 degrees cooler than yesterday it will still be almost 10 degrees above average for the date. Cloudy today and tomorrow with rain arriving tomorrow after evening rush hour. The rain should mix with and change to snow toward rush hour on Tuesday AM with maybe a small slushy accumulation across some of the higher spots of Chester and Berks counties. Most of the rest of the week will feature more seasonable temps with Wednesday being the chilliest day with highs in the low to mid 30's. Records for today: High 64 (1960) / Low -13 (1899) / Precipitation 1.68" (1983) / Snow 21.6" (1983)
Fields27
Ummm yes plowable on the grass. Good luck on paved surfaces. We've seen it before. Good rates can 100% overcome a warm ground. Paved surface or not. I doubt anyone south of the Lehigh Valley gets in on those rates though. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
penndotguy
I’m expecting around 1-2 slushy inch’s in Western Berks, I’m about 20 minutes from I78 but not gonna do it for this one
Hurricane Agnes
The 12z 3k NAM really came in north in terms of drying up the south (more than the 12k).
Hurricane Agnes
12Z GFS similar although still hanging with some for most inland (pretty much nothing for coastal plain/I-95 south and east).

RedSky
Too bad it went a hundred miles north yesterday. End result is better for the northern zones matching the 2-4" NWS forecast.
