Mikeymac5306
I'm just as angry as any other Eagles fan right now so i'll say enjoy the snow while it lasts as the next system melts it all away.
RedSky
For it to last it has to snow first.
Birds~69
Maybe a snow shower/flurries can sneak in here in the wee hours...probably not. Cloudy/36F

It’s been drizzling in Allentown tonight. If it’s not snowing here it won’t snow in the Philly burbs.

Ralph Wiggum
5 hours ago, RedSky said: Euro cold smokes us then follows with the same GFS firehose power washer two days later looks like one hell of a year coming 6z GFS is a MECS for us for the 7th....a brief thump to mostly wet for the 10th, a SECS for the 14th, then reasonably cold with a 1042hp parked over us and another storm trying to punch our way from TexArKana. Yep, heck of a year coming bro. Not suggesting the op is right, just rebutting on your pessimism. Take one at a time. Nice setup this week.
LVblizzard
Remarkable agreement between the GFS/CMC/Euro ensembles. They all have a major snowstorm on Saturday into Sunday.

Ralph Wiggum
Likely it isn't, but for those already looking ahead to a pattern breakdown...just enjoy this Jan 6-7 potential and make like it's the only one we get this winter. We've begged for several years for this and now it's staring us in the faces. Savor it like it's the last you'll ever see and just enjoy the ride.
Duca892
Please please please stay and happen. I want that excitement of getting issued a Winter Storm Watch to it going to a Warning and finally waiting for the first flakes to fly. Haven’t had that here in Bethlehem PA for a long time

Let’s just get some snow on the ground, it’s been years. Why worry about it melting? It’s gonna melt eventually.

LVblizzard
12z models are all over the place so far. CMC and UKMET rain on Philly, ICON is a big snowstorm, while the GFS nearly misses completely.
Mikeymac5306
Looks like an I-81 crush job so far. I know there's a way to go with this. That mix line is so close to 1-95 it's not funny. Hey all things considered; we'll take 2-4'' of mix slop now if it sets up for something better in a week. Speaking of which CMC comes in with more of a front end thump for the next storm FWIW

Overcast/42F Yep, I have seen them gathering nuts at a feverish pitch. How about the Commanders and Dallas game Sunday? Dallas might try to move the dam game lol, right? Also, mother nature loves January 7th and 8th during football season when it comes to snow.

Nah, Philly/NY and Dal/Wash games were both possible NFL "flex" games but now they both are set as 4:25pm start Sun. There's no real real drama in the NFC East. Dal most likely will crush Wash. Birds 5th seed, Dal win divsion... Overcast/42F
