Daniel Boone
Snow began here around 10:30. Temps running just above freezing so not sticking as it's not heavy enough to overcome the slightly above freezing T and warm ground. A dusting is at mountain around 2000 ft and up so far.

PowellVolz
Is it me or does it seem like the wave west of here is rotating more east than the mods suggested? Also… moderate sleet shower moving through Halls. .

bearman
We finally have some returns over our area but nothing is falling from the sky. I have had no winter type precipitation fall this year except a few wet flakes this morning. Sad times for snow lovers. Maybe we can get somthing going next week. Carvers Gap
Hit a heavy sleet/snow shower on the way home from JC. Thankfully the roads were good. The intensity of that wouldn't have taken long to snarl things
fountainguy97
Man those streams of moisture building on radar the last few frames look stout. If we can get down to 32 this will stack on quickly. I've been hovering between 32.5 and 33.5 all day. 1

Looks like western Lee down through Hancock County is getting clocked with a strengthening training band. Also , area sinking south through Harlan County KY is moderate to heavy. Some areas will get a surprise accumulation tonight.

PowellVolz
How is this even possible when I got 3 little snows last year in the valley?.

The further east you go the worse winters have been lately. They have only gotten two measurable snowfalls in that 1003 day span since February 8th 2021, and one of those was .3 inches in March 2022.

Silas Lang
Any reports of snow from that moisture currently on radar? Assuming it's not reaching the ground, but thought I would ask.

Surprised no one is talking about this or interested. I know there are bigger potential opportunities (or busts) ahead, but I will take whatever 3 flakes I can get. lol
