Nothing better than an extended period of light snow, whether or not it accumulates, after a decent snowfall.

You have no idea how warm and fuzzy it makes me feel to be called a rookie at my age. I stole that map from the MA forum. That is sweet. 1

CarlislePaWx
GFS axis of heaviest moves south and east by quite a bit. Uh-oh
mitchnick
Gfs cooler for sure, but suppressed some too as a result. Crazy models

mitchnick
Gfs and Icon, less so Canadian, have that period of extended snow after the main show thanks to that trailing vort that squeezes out the atmosphere.
CarlislePaWx
The whole presentation seems whacked, moreso than 18z, and yet Lanco takes the prize (this run).
Blizzard of 93
Just now, Superstorm said: Both Canadian and GFS are decent hits . Absolutely! The GFS has a good track for the main thump, but then brings a second piece of energy through that ramps the snow back up mid day on Sunday. Another run with 8 at Harrisburg…plus plenty of room to survive last minute bumps north towards storm time.
CarlislePaWx
I guess I overreacted a little when I saw the low head east from Norfolk. That position was so much further south than the other runs and models that showed it east of the DelMarVa.
CarlislePaWx
This run puts DC back in the game, going from less than an inch back up to around 6. I do hope for their sake that they get to join the party.
Blizzard of 93
My goodness, I liked the GFS, but I would love for this Canadian run to verify. This would be a crowd pleaser for all of CTP.
