We should be good if the low transfers from Eastern TN to the Outer Banks of NC & then moves north as the Euro shows.

Totally agreed. It/the 4th system is the key to track, IMO. Fun to track either way.

The level of posts on here makes it impossible to follow the "show" on the MA thread when just checking in every hour or two. Lol.

Pick out which is the 12z run and which is the 0z without having to look at the time stamp. I bet you got it right.

I can live with that or even an advisory level event even if I don’t jackpot. That’s just how it works. It’s just frustrating that objectively bad solutions like 1-3” or even nothing are still on the table.
mitchnick
I think this Eps snowfall is wrong and the colors on the scale are 1 off (8-10 is really 6-8), but we'll see shortly when Pivotal Eps comes out.

I figured that if the High in Quebec kept moving out, it would have no problem moving nne and being a hit. But if the High held its ground, no dice. It is definitively further south as to the precip shield so a bit worried where it was going.
mitchnick
That 1/4 storm is really lowering heights along the coast in its wake, particularly on the Gfs. As much as it may make me uncomfortable to say it, I don't mind seeing the primary go into the Tenn Valley first. Remember, we do need some ridging ahead of the system to get it up the coast some...just not too much.
