While all the runs through the 7th are good for me, and doubling up on the Euro, the low placement of the 7th storm on the Euro is too close for comfort for SWPA.  A low that far north in WV would flood the area with warm air, it always does.  Obviously, too early to worry about that, but something to watch on my end.  But, everything looks pretty good at this point.  Let's all hope for something to hit here.

I think those ratings mostly use frontal placement vs. ground truth weather (like you suggested.)   The Ukie has not been good when I have tried to incorporate it into forecasts.
