Mount Joy Snowman
All wrapped up here. An additional .5" of snowfall since this morning, making for a grand total of 3.1". Nice little event. The craziest part is that it snowed nearly continuously for almost 24 hours and I barely eclipsed the 3" mark. That is impressive in and of itself haha.

I was a bit shocked that there wasn’t more when I woke up.

I let some land on my glove to inspect and they were pretty much balls vs. crusty snow. We are quite cold up through 850 so something higher up I guess. Bubbler86
EC is pretty much a ditto from today for Friday. Weak low to our south hands off to weak coastal and we get 12-24 hours of fairly light snow. 2-4" most of Eastern PA.

The main front seems well past you with 850's crashing down in Philly, but visible satellite shows what might be a secondary front near you.

It can go away now ...

Lol Actually, I'm fine with it. It covered the grass, looks beautiful, and didn't interfere with travel. Plus, we've got Friday, then shut the blinds until the last days of January or start of February. Seems like that's when the cold returns after the warmup that starts Monday.

We cool, you warm, and vice versa. The next 4 days, we'll be running 70-75 for highs. Then as you guys thaw out, we'll go wet and chilly again, with rain chances starting on Sunday.

The Friday low gets nowhere NE on the NAM as it drifts out into the open Atlantic. Cannot not seem to get one of these Southern Stream Vorts to time anything with a Northern Vort for a real snow. Bubbler86
HH Rgem rolling in now and like usual the Canadians internet is much better than the US. Maps flying in every 1-3 min. Very similar through 54. Light snow spreads over much of PA in the early hours of Friday on the hour 63 panel. Weak over 1008 Low parked off the Carolinas.
Bubbler86
Now low forms off NJ coast Friday evening...still light to moderate snow over PA (Rgem)...new low may be an issue with the regem figuring out where to place as it is gone one panel later. Looks like we get some phasing of NS, but not really a big trifecta of sorts. Trough rather progressive so once again, while a good event, upside to me would be coastal slowing down and hangin back a bit, but not really sure how much further amplification there could be. RGEM was nicest to look at, ICON wasnt too shabby, and GFS a little strung out but workable. I'd think a 3-6 kinda deal isnt far fetched?? Busy day! Just getting around to seeing this my man. Haven’t looked too closely at Friday, so I’ll reserve any comment until I get a better look at guidance. It does look like a close call for a moderate event in the LSV and around the Mason Dixon. Best opportunity is currently north. I’ll try to chime in tonight with more when I get a better handle. Today was a lot of running around and taking care of stuff, plus snow cleanup. Man, it actually was nice to be cleaning snow!!
