mitchnick
Heaviest stuff has stopped. Cor/Coefficient radar shows sleet has breached the PA line. Starting to "hear" the snow on my windows.. .you know what that means! The heavy stuff eas from a warm air surge that has obviously warmed me. We'll see how long until I switch to non-accumulating mix. Should be soon unfortunately.

You can see the 925's trying to push up through 2/3 of PA that is advection not temps.) ]\]\

Next step is rain, of course. I suspected this would happen since Westminster was a bust and the rain ob out of Waynesboro.

I think it does change for almost all of us at some point as the HRRR has mix to Scranton now. Just not this early.

Bubbler86
Some areas (hopefully SE of our board) in SE PA could get quite a lot of rain this afternoon and evening. Not surprised to see some get over 1" with the low deepening a bit.
Mount Joy Snowman
Still 32/31 here but with moderate snow now and much healthier flakes. Was just out driving and the main roads are mostly fine but side roads are dicey and my neighborhood roads are completely snow covered. Beautiful scene.

I truly thought people would lose 850 and 925 along with above and sleet would be limited. Maybe it will not be that much.

DDweatherman
Just now, mitchnick said: Maybe we change back with heavy returns...nahhh. The heaviest stuff is moving in for the next few hours. If it was snow, could be 2-3” rates. Especially knowing the 40dbz is just rain on the current radar, so it’s real.
