At 3:00pm here in Carlisle, it is snowing heavily.  Since 2:15 I have recorded an additional 0.8" for a storm total of 3.3".  So the intensity is running around 1.2"/hr.  The temp is still holding at 29.8 degrees with a dew point of 28.9 and a wet bulb of 29.3.  Looking forward to the 4-6pm period of really intense snowfall.

I’m at 3.1” in Marysville at 3 pm with moderate to occasional heavy snow with good flake size.

Like a light switch, moderate snow switched to sleet in Lebanon.  Warm nose on the eastern areas really screamed northward quickly.  Only 2” here in Lebanon at changeover and that likely will be all she wrote as far as snow accumulation here

Lots of models have been hammering home that mix line getting way north on the Eastern flank this afternoon.

Seeing multiple mPing reports of sleet well up into Lebanon County already. The HRRR first sniffed out the aggressive eastern warm nose at its maximum range of 48 hours. Impressive.

Yes, even over 24 hours ago the long range HRRR was hinting at low end snow amounts in the eastern and southern parts of LSV. Spot on.  Im at 29° in Lebanon and only 2” of snow and its heavy sleet now

Definitely heavy rates. A loud snow.

It is really snowing hard.  It is not loud here now but was before when it switched to rain for a bit for the second time.   A week ago, it appeared this snow would not be STARTING until 7PM now it will be ending around that time over here.  Not ideal for those with temp issues but at least we got to see it in daylight.
