Outside of that pretty bad. 18/19 was ok in that it was slightly below average snowfall largely saved by March (also an 80s 90s feature). 17/18 I just remember getting plastered by that early Jan storm which was amazing down my ways. 20/21 was better where I work, and then Jan 22 was a solid month though not for all which sucks. Rough otherwise.
jm1220
People here forget when @bluewavewas honking as loud as anyone about the snowy patterns we’ve had. Just so happens our luck turned around and he’s calling that as he sees it. I’m sure he hopes we can figure something out this winter. His analysis is a treasure and I learn more every time he posts. If people don’t like it, sucks, but he hasn’t been wrong. And maybe read into it and learn vs complain. 15

I loved the epic heatwave in February too which was great and had a snowstorm in the middle of the warmth lol.

gravitylover
Most of those were just a sort of early end to the snow season and a sort of late start to the next. Only one other is multi-year. That's significant.

mannynyc
Doesn't need to be a big piece storm to end NYC's snow drought. A well placed piece of energy can give us 1-2 inches and remove the lid.

But transitioned to one of the plastic sleds since the older sleds with the metal runners would tip over more. Plus you had to get out of the way pretty quickly with so many people going down the hills at once. 4
