The fact is we (SNE) are wasting day after day of cold season basically snowless.

It's the equivalent of being June 8th, temps still in the 60's with no heat in sight. Usually late May/June we're all looking forward to 80s and 90s.

Folks shouldn't be panicked but certainly concerned.

It’s posts like this that are the fuel for the nonsense.   Absolutely a ridiculous post. You’ve heard it from Will, Scott and a bunch of others in the know, that early December is usually not very conducive for snow in SNE.  Yet you continue to throw out complete BS troll posts.  It’s crap like that makes this place hard to stomach.

If it was mid January, then I’d agree with you that we’re wasting days/time. However, now we are certainly not.  Please, at least have the decency to know what you’re talking about.  And that troll Allsnow who likes every single dumb thing you say..he’s another piece of work. What a pair you two are. :axe::facepalm:

Why is climo such a tough concept to grasp and understand?

At least up here...

November is a greater snow producing month than April.

December is a greater snow producing month than March.

Kind of a big deal if you are striking and fouling through Jan 1. Just probability. You know, mathssss....

I think recent years have us biased into believing we can easily make up lost ground with one MECS+ storm. Those odds are not worth banking on.

the ignore button is a wonderful feature. Alternatively, you could just skip over his posts and not reply to them. Your reaction is exactly what they are looking for.

Euro with a warm core low at the end of the run. We 12/24/94.

I have some hope that one can correct colder.

You have a big block N of AK and a PV in N Hudson Bay/Baffin….get that northern branch to correct SW a bit and maybe we have something. That correction would prob push the central US ridge westward a bit too.

That’s pretty much our only hope. EPS is somewhat interesting.

The flood watch and winter storm watch overlapping is great.

We've hit the rare daily double, under a flood watch and a winter storm watch at the same time. Yay us!

I'd take that LLJ on the backside. Best shot at wind inland.

I've always said the NW wind events in winter will outperform the southerly events 90%+ of the time. Maybe we can get a 3/8/05 stinger on the back end....wish we could get a few hours of blizzard like that one, but beggars cant be choosers.

I don’t care what direction the 60 mph + come from.. just bring them !

Holiday ornaments strewn about driveways and lawns in towns across SNE. It’s about the best we can wish for

Maybe we can get cane force gusts in a proper grincher later that takes chimneys down , traps Santa
