What sort of impact does Sunday have on later in the week?  Like, what should I be rooting for if I want a “decent” midlo snow later in the week…

Sunday is not expected to have much impact; however, if enough snow accumulates in areas given this arctic air is moving in, there could be possible delays or cancellations on Tuesday. Most places will be closed on Monday.

Meanwhile, the 18z Euro AI suggests a slightly more northern track for the mid-week storm. This is a favorable trend to root for as we get closer to the event. It has 0.20" of QPF for Richmond and between 0.30 and 0.40" for Hampton Roads. With air temperatures ranging from 20 to 30 degrees, this could lead to decent minor event and is worth monitoring.

00Z GFS much better for Sun

It's only slightly better than 18z, but not nearly as good as the 12z or even the 6z run from this morning. But, could be a trend back in the right direction.  Looks to me for the Richmond metro area, looking at this run only, the best time for accumulating snows is between 3pm and 7pm. We will be fighting boundary layer issues and surface temps above freezing up until ~3pm. Taking this run verbatim.

Yes was comparing with 18z bc seemed like 6z was a one off.  Seems qpf quite a bit higher this run vs 18z.

EURO still scraping the coast and gone. It'd be nice to see some movement inland there. Otherwise I'm not buying anything. Great potential though.  Like nothing I've seen in the 7 years I've been down here. There's an actual chance of a bonafide snow storm through Dixie and into the carolinas. Hopefully the EURO starts creeping back Northwest.

Yes. So far. GFS slowly worked its way back to the northwest. Hopefully Euro follows suit. It doesn't take much for the euro to move to get me but a little bit of work to do to get up to the central and Western parts of our area. Plenty of time.

Not at home at the moment and won't be for most of the afternoon. Got a lot going on today so can't be attentive to the runs, but I'll try to check things when I can from my phone.
