The  southern edge  never  verifies and wont this time. And from what  i saw all other  12Z models have a  bit warmer rain. A bit  of  improvement  from 38 and rain to 40 and  rain.

Someone may need to take @Jiout back and put him down

Dude, just put him on ignore. Been around since 2003. It's his schtick. Everyone else thinks it's funny for some unknown reasons. I don't get it, so I have him on ignore. You're not going to change minds. They protect him.

Also, looks like the damn civil war in the main thread. People getting downright nasty.

All I'll say is, karma is always watching. I love a storm that jacks me, but I don't actively wish less snow on others.

Weather gonna weather. It doesn't care what we think.

Although I value some of the content posted by a select few, I rarely go in there. All the good stuff often gets buried so quickly anyway.

Very true. Do you happen to have the NAM snow maps?

Nam only goes out to 84 hours obviously but looking good

Something to watch in later runs, the NAM usually can pick up mixing better than the globals.

Globals continue to churn out big numbers consistently. Mesos will be interesting to view starting Monday really.

Definitely signs of a deformation band setting up somewhere, I'm sure the placement of it will fluctuate from run to run.

I can't remember this much consistency 3 1/2 days out from so many different weather models. Can you?

I hope the Euro is right because I don't want to be on the edge like that...

Yeah, most of that in SE VA on the Euro is on the backside. But if you get an early enough phase and draw down good cold, I can easily see a 4-8" scenario along the coastline, specifically southside Hampton Roads. I think 1-2" on the front end and 3-5" on the back end similar to how the Blizzard of 1996 panned out at ORF. But of course this is all speculation as every storm produces different results.

The last time there was this much consistency was in January 2016 and December 2009. I think the February 2010 storm as well, although that one shifted north and crushed DC, but Richmond still recorded 7" from it officially.
