12z ICON fwiw is a blizzard for next week-midweek, with a ton of snow and GFS solid again. Just letting you know what the models are showing. Let's see how it all trends and how Euro does. No final totals yet from CMC but also coming in strong.

Just heavy rain for us on the coast on that ICON run. I like the look though. Just need the low father south and east off the coast.

This MUST happen.  It's a moral imperative.  One thing to break the 1" drought.  Another to have a few minor events and the cold we had in January.  However, if we get a bona fide, actual snow event without threat of mixing and break the 6" drought, I will label the winter of 2025 acceptable.

Fingers crossed that we all score, including our southeastern contingent, but hey, rest assured that during the spring, summer and fall months, I am jealous of you, Chris624 (sic em Dawgs!) and StormPC because you all are closer to where I want to be, the beach.

Don't say that yet. But I get you. I dare to say it's trending South the past two runs across the board. Let's see which way it goes the next two days. I think Richmond is looking good for something pretty significant either way

Anything I get the rest of the way this winter is a bonus. Already had our 7 plus inch event. Blew through climo. I just like to get a taste of some of that colorful snowmap through the tracking process. Doesn't even have to happen. I just like being in the game. I knew when I moved down there I wasn't getting much if anything. I'm surprised I got two events over 6 inches the past 4 years.

We will see. Pattern seems set  in stone. My prediction is the  precip will start as sleet/snow at  36 then the temp will drop 2 degrees and we get  a  boatload  of  34 and rain

Not for us on the coast if it stays that flat and doesn't dig down to the Gulf, unfortunately

18Z GFS keeps Hampton Roads in play.
