Clearly what I’m saying is I’m not going to be concerned about it any longer and wait to see what happens. Never did I say it won’t snow.

Friday you said "no accumulation". Models disagree. That's all I'm saying.

But this is a happy day! My Eagles, A team I've loved and rooted for, been to dozens of games etc etc, for 50 years now (I'm almost 57 lol) are trying to keep the Chiefs from a 3peat! So don't wanna beef with anyone.

So I'm gonna hold on my prediction of 3-5", even tho it will be a wet heavy snow, that I made Friday, and we will see what happens!

The main board just hates you guys- everyone saying it’s coming north.  I for one hope Richmond gets 16” of snow to quiet those people up

It's all good haha-I've had almost 8" of snow in 2 storms-the 2 Jan storms we had in 6 days. Besides the amount of days in March and April it's 68° and sunny here where it's 50° and dreary up there, is worth living down here just for that hahahahaha.

I do like the little nudge South on the euro. Very razor thin line still which is worrisome. I'll just rely on maps here and not watching TT lol.

Surface temps are so marginal. We need precip to start earlier in the morning.

Euro has RIC at 29°F at 7 am ahead of the precip, but it's up to 37°F by 11 am when the precip starts, and it just stays at 33°F during the event. Euro has 850mb temps rising above 0°C around 7-8pm.

The GFS has RIC at 32° at 7 am and at 36°F by 11 am, dropping to 33°F for most of the afternoon. But, the heavy rates help RIC drop to 32°F at 5 pm, where it stays for the rest of the night.  850mb temps on the GFS don't go above 0°C until Wednesday afternoon.

Just highlighting the differences I've seen between the Euro and GFS.

I like the S shift on the Euro.  Hopefully it’s playing catch up to the GFS with colder air entrenched.

still dont believe any of it. Its just to warm imo

18z data will tell. If S shift is real on Euro  and continues,  then we should be solidly in the game instead of fringed.  Also need the NAM to come back around.

Wife just got home from JMU visiting daughter, treating roads all the way home on 64.  No surprise to maintain budgetary numbers but just sharing.

As far as the main board or thread goes, thanks again to RIC Airport for keeping this thread alive when Midlo dialed it back to do, I am sure, more important things, than moderate the occasional train wreck.

What grates my cheese, and it has been this way a long time, the folks that preach no regionalism hate from time to time, are some of the biggest offenders.

As stated, it's weather, it's going to weather.  Don't tell us to move, kids and life events make that impossible for most.  So, that is why sometimes, I root for us to jackpot and for them to get shut out although, it is a lot more fun when everybody scores even our more further south bretheren.

I'll be very clear about that last part. I have to assume people who say that are joking. Because if anybody lives in a region of the country or moves their family there because of snow they are completely insane. And if they talk about it and they're being serious about it there's some insanity there too lol.
