The GFS was on its own being the coldest and farthest south.

Euro has been trending to the GFS this time around so we  will see.  Gonna waiver back and forth some.

Euro seems to be more distancing itself away from the GFS to me. And we know who usually wins.

Exactly

It's been more consistent so there is that. But, when you look at the ensembles (GEFS/EPS) over the last couple of days, there was always a more northerly signal.

I know I'll be gone, but this would be wonderful! Just hope 18z Euro isn't the beginning of a trend. @wasnow215cautioned that it may not be after only one run. 00z runs will be interesting.

I’m not buying that map from NBC12. I expect by tomorrow evening or Monday morning the totals will be down to 1-3 or 2-5.

Hope y'all in the interior do well with this one, but not enthused a bit for Southside HR. Hopefully we get a better look for a storm before the winter is over.

I hope so too. Sucks it’s halfway to March already.

GFS still with its larger totals, but RIC proper has no room for error.

GFS Holds Steady, minor adjustments but nothing crazy

Timing this run is about 6-7am and surface temps are mostly at 32 during the event. The 850 0C lines creeps close, but remains below freezing.

I feel  more confident we see at least  3-4’’ from this. Would be super happy with 5’’+  Don’t want to get greedy

GFS gotta be overdoing totals.  If that actually verified, would be our biggest snow since 2016.

One reason why this thread exists.

Hey, I tried to go to bat for y'all, and I'm up on the Delmarva! Lol. I've started checking out this thread for analysis that is more relevant to me. The maps they post cut me off to the east the maps you guys post cut me off to the north! LOL. But at least we share the same issues with mixing and temp issues in most storms. We also tend to all cash in at the same time. Usually if I'm getting it, you guys are too.
