You mean speaking facts? Got it.

Saying you’re speaking facts, is not the same as actually doing it. Especially on the internet.

If your cynicism was to be believed, then it would mean the models all went to hell today, and that’s not what happened. They converged and came to a consensus.

Some models ticked south, and some ticked north.

Everything else seems to have remained the same.

If all of the current data holds true, we will see more snow than we’ve seen in awhile, even if it isn’t as much as we’d like.

But yes, it is Richmond. You *could* be right. It doesn’t mean you *will* be right.

I personally don’t care that much, it’s been so long that we’ve gone without.

Hell, if I woke up to 50 degrees and rain tomorrow, I’d laugh.

This is why I don’t post much here .. The storm hasn’t even started yet & people are going nutty.. Dry air?

that’s always at the start of every storm..

some of you either need to stop drinking or start and come back around 10pm

By then there should be some decent action started and a better idea where this will all go .. smh lol

We’ve had plenty of experience failing and not much action past few years so we should all be pros at this by now. Expect the worst and hope for the best. It’s just nice to even have chances especially 5 days into Jan.

It’s crazy!  If you watch the models and then see the radar, it’s actually better than modeled at the moment

You can’t really watch the radar unless you actually have something hitting the ground .. most of it is  Virga right now, also here in central VA the mountains steal allot of the precip and never make it over or split the percip up.. That’s why whenever the heavy bands set up is going to be key for the amount of snow everyone gets

RIC can you post the ensemble frames for next wknd storm

It's hard to separate the current event from next weekend, but I tried to slow this down this period and you can see the hits. Seems to me, the ENS are south of the op.

Sidebar...is it okay if I'm stanning because you're posting from a P9 Pro XL?? I am still on P8 Pro but still loving it one plus year on...
This is my first Pixel after being with Samsung and Motorola before that. I'm enjoying it so far.

If we can avoid dry slotting for too long, and it does this until the early morning hours, I could see us getting at least a few inches by then.

True-I talked about this yesterday. I felt like we would get a couple inches on the front end and then at least an inch or two on the back end -and my call was 3 to 5 -I think that's a little low for some areas now. Many of the models were very consistent with that front end thump.
