I saw lots of low to mid 20s in NJ. Got down to about 29F near New Brunswick.

Tonight should be ideal for several degrees lower. The dry weather will also help.

And probably mostly clear skies...  this should give NYC a better chance and most of Li to me looks to be a frost or freeze.. provided skies are mostly clear. Clouds reinvaded northern NJ after 130AM when I had my low of 28.  Interesting this coming morning again and again Wed-Thu morning.

Heavy rain Saturday?

We will probably need the northern stream to relax enough in order to allow the southern stream low to come up the coast. The theme of recent years has been for the northern stream to suppress the southern stream. Still have the lingering La Niña influence in the northern stream and the El Niño southern stream trying to push back. So a split flow pattern.

2pm temps mid 40s, except Newark at 48. 45 at my house. I would think even the city may be 32 or 33 tonight.

JFK radiates the best out of the city sites so I could see the first 32 there. The park will probably be 34 and LGA the worst radiating site 35. Assuming it doesn’t happen tonight we may go pretty late in the season for the Park.

More late fall photos. The high was just 44 despite bright sunshine.

Is this Larchmont? I saw a ton of deer in the woods at Flowers Park today. We have a fun skate park in the woods over there and often see deer, but today I happened to see a buck for the first time in my life

I really hate to say it, but I can totally see this being the theme of the winter again.  We seem to be unable to break this pattern these past few winters.

i understand how ensembles paint a decent picture of the upcoming pattern, however; the GFS operational model has been consistently showing a thanksgiving cold shot. it's out in fantasy land still so who really knows what will happen. just another view, who really knows?

Same ole garbage. I guess we'll be seeing another 2" winter. Time to move out west.

it is showing a few degrees above normal here which is in the mid 50s for Thanksgiving, which is very normal for bird day..PLUS it NEVER snows in November.
