Met1985
Temps were marginal whenever we had the moisture..not much at the house. You have to get above 4k feet for there to be snow on the ground. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk 8

WxKnurd
Found a dusting starting up at the top of my property around 3900’, more in the typical shaded spots. Crisp morning felt good while walking my new pup on her first hike up to the ridgeline.
Met1985
Had a low of 16 this morning. That's respectable for the end of February. Looks like all of a sudden we may have multiple chances of some winter weather on our way.

Yeah I've been reading a ton on how all the lakes and reservoirs are at or near normal again which is amazing considering the absolute horrific drought they were in for several years. I read earlier this year that new rainfall wouldn't make a difference but wow has it.
Maggie Valley Steve
Big changes ahead for tomorrow bringing the potential for some heavy rainfall and temperatures in the 60's crashing to the mid 20’s with a chance of snow for the Mountains above 3500 ft. Looking to Thursday night, moisture quickly returns with a robust CAD in place into Friday morning, a wintry mix is looking like a real possibility.
Met1985
Yep tomorrow night looks like we could see a few flakes then we could see a start of a mix to rain.Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
Tyler Penland
Crazy thick fog Tonight. Worst I've seen in a while. When the sidewalk is foggy you know it's thick.

Reminds me of Blowing Rock in November 2020. The thickest fog I ever had the displeasure of driving through. Blue Ridge Parkway from West Jefferson to Blowing Rock. Then 421 back.
