Maggie Valley Steve Posted October 30, 2023 Share Posted October 30, 2023 After the massive leaf dump over the weekend, I spent the day getting the leaves blown and burning in the firepit before the light rain moved in behind the front. I cannot remember the last time there was such a huge dump in a 60 hour period of a wide variety of trees. Last year I was still cleaning up Poplar leaves Thanksgiving week. This year everything seemed to drop all at once. Looks like Tube World is trying for an opening this Saturday! Cataloochee should start making snow tomorrow.
