Does he mean the system for next Wednesday? He's the one that's been calling for warmth throughout the month until December. Lol

Yes…you have to understand how Kev works…it’s all part of the game.  It took me a long time to realize that, but that’s part of learning how everybody rolls.

The high of 70 here would be better for laying asphalt shingles, mild enough for comfort but not softening the black stuff such that head-down nailing might be required to avoid damaging the tabs.  With the low of 47, today will be 17+ degrees AN, a top-5 departure in October #26.  Depending on whether tomorrow's late cool down cancels the morning low, the day may challenge the +20.5° of 10/15/14.  (71/51 would do it.)

Real borderline at 925 south of pike. I think you want a bit more of a dynamic system.

For a variety of reasons, especially the low-level thermals, dynamics have to really ramp up more than currently modeled for this to do much of anything south of Pike.  And that assumes, there will be a system?

schools closed, plow sparks flying with blades on wet roads, silverheads cleaning out the milk aisle?

I think the silver heads comment was a bit harsh... Lol... By the way, many of them will have stocked up by Sunday based on tv hype...

Clown of all clown maps

Yeah prob take about 40% of that for realistic numbers if we’re using the rest of the model output verbatim.

If we can get solid rates, then maybe you’d get closer to 10 to 1…but that’s tough this time of year. You need like -2 or colder at 925 imho.

I had a rare hedonistic lunch.  Grilled cheese (3 cheeses) on sourdough with the crispiest fries around.  However eating that keeps you full for a long time!  Gorgeous day as we move into a new wx regime.  So many of our early snows come with anomalous warmth right before it seems.   November 1995 had 60-70 the day before we got a 3-6 dump.  We were off to the races thereafter that season.
