The whole year has been boring…it’s been a snooze fest the last year.

Not where I live.

Multiple destructive wet snowstorms in January. Then a top 5 snowstorm for me in March.  Record setting rain this summer.  Destructive flooding in the city I work in in September.

Weather is typically local

Yes, for you it’s been active and exciting. And that’s good for you.  We did have the flooding and massive rains in the summer…so there was that.  But overall for most(especially winter fun) it’s been a bore.

Wonder if Kmart will go aggressive for an early to mid Nov opening....pattern doesn't look too bad after the cold shot either.

They can get those north ridge trails open with 48 hours of temps if they want it...I can almost guarantee they'll use this shot to start building on superstar for the world cup; just don't know how bad they want the open.  If it wasn't for those weekend days currently modeled in the upper 40s there, I'd lean toward a Nov 3rd opening if I had to bet.  Those trails are at 3000' though, so might still work.

ORH's latest freeze on record occurred in 1977....I think most would take that winter again.

Which brings to mind my greatest personal disappointment that I will take to my grave-being in Los Angeles for the blizzard of 78.   Keeping hope alive.
