Yes, it would be the first since December of 2020 when many of us got near a foot of snow.

I would be happy with a region wide low end Warning 5 to 8 type of snow event to get the party started!

Right on queue, the 18z GFS this run has 2 winter storm chances for us between the 5th & 10th of December.

Of all the winter forecasts out there, we need to grade all of them. And see which one did the best at the end of this winter.

I just scanned through it & didn’t see where he made predictions for temperatures or snow. He just had a summary towards the end with general thoughts.

In past years, he would give month by month maps with above & below normal that usually were confusing as hell!

Maybe it's a safe way to avoid being ridiculed at the end of the season.

It would take an hour to do anything but scan that big boy.  He did suggest it would be "active" mid and late winter and that was it as far as my reading.

Yes, I know the opponent...but as I've said all year - I don't think Drew Allar was the problem. He can play. And he's playing his ass off tonight.

Thought the boys played very well last night. Obviously left some points on the field in the first half but overall a dominant performance against an admittedly shaky MSU team ha. This defense is just….whew boy, they come at you in waves.

MJS already made the call.  Nov will end up normal.  In the books and a done deal!

This morning was the coldest morning here in East Nantmeal 24.1 degrees since the 22.5 degree reading back on March 19th. Today we will struggle to escape the 40's especially in the higher terrain of the county this is about 10 degrees colder than it should be for this time of the year. We warm up to the mid 40's tomorrow with some rain Sunday night before turning much colder again for mid week. Temperatures Tuesday will not get too far above freezing in some spots of Chester County.
Records for today: High 74 (1979) / Low 12 (1938) / Rain 2.11" (1964) / Snow 6.0" (1938)

Saw a WSW in the far Northwest.

Yes, it is good to see the Lake Effect regions getting going with their snow season in the next couple of days.

It was also good to see snow in northern New England last week and snow at the Kansas State football game last night.

The step down to Winter continues.

Shower chances will be on the increase today with a pretty big spread between west to east across the county with rainfall amounts by tomorrow morning. Greatest amounts over 0.75" will be to the east with maybe only 0.33" in western spots. Much colder air spills in again tomorrow PM. It will be windy and cold both Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday high temps will struggle to get too far above the freezing mark with wind chills in the teens to low 20's at times.
Records for today: High 70 (1896) / Low 5 (1938) / Rain 1.52" (1944) / Snow 5.3" (2014)
