And it’s from today through Monday…we know it’s not raining today and tomorrow…so that’s the weekend rain no matter which way you slice it. Ironically it’s Colder here(47) than in N. #NoPoles
I tried to mow my lawn yesterday. Holy hell, I mowed about 30% of it. The grass just hasn't been able to dry out and there have been so few clear and dry days that the lawn was just out of control. My lawn mower was begging for its mama. 1

So whether it’s .5” or 3” it’s still a wet Saturday and possibly Sunday. Sucks for those hoping for dry.
WxWatcher007
For those that care, I think this has a really good shot of becoming a named subtropical storm (Ophelia) and a decent shot of acquiring tropical characteristics right before a NC landfall. The guidance has continued to trend stronger and more organized with the low as it makes that final approach. GFS has led the way on this one, but if anything the Euro has become the wetter model here south of pike. 06z Euro wettest yet of those euro runs. 3
