0.45” with the storms in the 2am hour.  That is very welcome.

5.49” on a CoCoRaHS station SW of Dulles.

Yeah, I said "WOW" when I saw that this morning when entering my data. That is crazy. A giant 'T' for me last night, stuff all around in late afternoon and evening, I had just enough fall to wet surfaces..... Pretty foggy here this am, least it isn't as warm (61.7/61.0 currently).

Our daughter in College Park said a lightning bolt out of nowhere hit real close to her apartment with sun shining.  I looked at Radarscope and the bolt was indicated right where she is with the thunderstorm 5-7 miles away.  That's what can make lightning dangerous!

Based on radar, looks like everything is east today so I'm glad I watered the gardens this morning.  Near shutout continues

Lots of thunder in SE loudoun again, day 3 in a row for hail?

Took a walk today and the entire neighborhood covered in shredded leaves. The storm pond filled up halfway yesterday and it’s probably a good 16’ deep.

I wouldn’t be suprised if we’re approaching 6” of rain in the last 48 hours.
